Regional Advisors

Niels Erik is Managing Partner of Nordic Engagement Partners, a firm he established to facilitate engagement with companies in the Nordic region. He has over twenty years experience in research, corporate finance and investment management. Most recently, he was Head of Equities at ATP, Denmark’s largest pension fund with DK400 billion of assets. Under his leadership, ATP was one of the first institutions in the Nordic region to invest in the Focus Fund asset class. Niels Erik is also a board member of PenSam Bank and a member of the representative assembly of Topdanmark. He writes for Danish publications on investment and economic issues and is an external teacher at the Copenhagen Business School.

The European regional advisors will introduce GO to potential clients and investment opportunities. They will also advise and represent GO in shareholder engagements undertaken by both the GO European Focus Fund and GO’s Stewardship Service.
